Licensure compacts

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) have launched a project to develop an interstate licensure compact for occupational therapy. The purpose of the Compact is to increase consumer access to occupational therapy services by reducing regulatory barriers to interstate mobility and cross –state practice.
