National Center for Interstate Compacts (NCIC)

The National Center for Interstate Compacts (NCIC) seeks to help states work cooperatively to solve mutual issues and meet shared goals. It serves as an information clearinghouse, provider of training and technical assistance, and as a primary facilitator for assisting states in the review, revision, and creation of new interstate compacts.

Center for Connected Health Policy

The Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP) is the federally designated national telehealth policy resource center. CCHP provides technical assistance, education and creates resources and materials related to telehealth policy and consults frequently with federal and state policymakers, health plans, providers, national organizations and others. More information can also be found on CCHP’s Cross-State Licensing and Licensure Compacts pages.

The website provides information for health care providers and patients about the latest federal efforts to support and promote virtual health care, known as telehealth. It was built by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
